Can I share this with my students on Google Classroom or other similar service? (Teachers)

Normally, our Teacher Appreciation Subscription is created for in-school use only and for security purposes should not be shared for at-home use. However during this time of distance learning due to Covid-19, we have updated our policy on how you can share Vooks with your students at home.

You can now share Vooks with your students using programs that allow for a screen share option while you are teaching live, virtually (programs such as Zoom or Google Hangouts). Please keep in mind that Vooks should not be recorded and shared later, but can be watched live while you share your screen with your students.

For security purposes, you should never share your account password with your students.

Vooks has a great option for parents too! We have created take-home lesson plans that can be shared with parents and guardians - built to provide children with 20 minutes a day of read aloud time and activities. These resources can be used in conjunction with a free month trial of Vooks. Our goal is to give parents ample time to enjoy these free resources and help them get through any short term school closures.

Below is a message that can be shared with parents, to help explain Vooks:

Vooks is a great resource to use in the home with your children. Vooks is a streaming library of ad-free, kid-safe animated read-aloud storybooks, trusted by teachers and enjoyed by millions of children around the world every week. It is an entire library of storybooks, brought to life, to help encourage the love of reading. You can sign up for Vooks and use the take-home resources to help keep your children reading 20 minutes a day during these extraordinary times.
